If you have a local number listed in the CA, OR, WA, NV, AZ, UT, CO Hi Speed Numbers or National Hi-Speed, the speed is worth it.
The Hi-Speed numbers are super fast, because of the FastDial Accelrator program.

Specifically, FastDial Accelerator speeds up the delivery of Web pages two ways:

The FastDial Accelerator Software only works for Intel-based Macs and PCs with Windows 98 or later.
It does not work with Windows 95, Windows 3.1x, DOS, Mac, Linux or Palm yet.
(Our regular Dialup Services do support Windows 95, Mac, Linux and Palm.)

Here is how to set up a High Speed dialup account.
  • 1. New Clients Please Sign Up: Here for our "Dialup Account - High Speed" service.
    Existing Clients please email jimk@cyberdude.com or call (562)867-3230 and leave a message with your name.
  • 2. Install the fast dial software.    You can download the Accelerator Software for Windows or for Intel-based Mac
    .

    • After you have installed the software, it will ask for the username and password that you created in Step 1.

    The fastdial software runs in the background and you will dial-up as you normally do.
  • 3. Choose a Dialup access number. CA, OR, WA, NV, AZ, UT, CO or National Numbers

    (You are responsible for choosing a non toll call number for your area. We are not responsible for long distance charges.)
